Where We Have Homes: A Neighbourhood Guide to Greater Lisbon

We own 29 buildings across Greater Lisbon, and every one is in a place people actually live: close to a station, a ferry or a busy high street. Here is a quick guide to our areas, grouped by how you get into Lisbon.

Sintra line: Queluz, Monte Abraão, Amadora and Cacém

These towns sit on CP's Sintra line, with frequent urban trains into the city. Queluz has its palace and the old aqueduct, with Belas right next door. Amadora also has Metro stations on the blue line, and Cacém is a large, well-served town with shops and schools close by.

North along the Tagus: Sacavém, Alverca and Loures

Sacavém and Alverca are on CP's Azambuja line, a short ride to Oriente and the riverside of Parque das Nações. Loures is greener and quieter, connected by Carris Metropolitana buses.

Lisbon and Linda-a-Velha

In Lisbon itself we have homes in central neighbourhoods served by the Metro. Linda-a-Velha, in Oeiras, is a residential hill above Algés, close to the river and the Cascais line.

South bank: Almada, Seixal, Barreiro, Alhos Vedros and Setúbal

Across the river, the ferry is part of daily life. Almada has the Cacilhas–Cais do Sodré boat and the Metro Sul do Tejo. Seixal has its own ferry to Cais do Sodré and Fertagus stations, and Barreiro's ferry lands at Terreiro do Paço. Alhos Vedros is on the train line between Barreiro and Setúbal. Setúbal, between the Arrábida hills and the Sado estuary, is linked to Lisbon by Fertagus trains over the 25 de Abril bridge.
